Cardio & Strength

CARDIO & STRENGTH

Cardio exercise means doing a rhythmic activity that raises your heart rate into your target heart rate zone, the zone where you'll burn the most fat and calories. There are a number of other benefits to cardio exercise including; it can help strengthen the heart, improve lung capacity, increase bone density, improve quality of sleep, and help make you feel good. A number of our cardio classes also include strength and toning work.

FITNESS FOR

BONE STRENGTH

Wednesdays 5.45pm

Please bring weights

As we age, particularly after menopause, our bone strength can decline, increasing the risk of osteoporosis and fractures. This specialised class is designed to combat those risks and improve bone health through targeted exercises.

Using a combination of hand weights, resistance bands, and weight-bearing exercises, this class focuses on strengthening your bones and muscles. Particular attention is given to areas most susceptible to bone loss, including the hips and spine.

Join us to build strength, enhance bone density, and maintain your overall well-being in a supportive and energising environment.
